Tom Whittaker is an aspiring photographer, photojournalist, filmmaker and fine artist from the UK based in Siem Reap, Cambodia. He is interested in documenting social conflict, humanitarian issues, music and culture around the globe and has recently turned his focus onto South East Asia.
The ability to work with multiple mediums has always been his strength, and he is equally at home behind a camera, capturing aerial video or in the studio. He currently works in a freelance role to NGO's and musicians in Cambodia counting Cambodian Self-Help Demining, the Cambodian Space Project, Amund Maarud, the Giant Puppet Project and 60 Road Studios among his clients. He also leads photography tours to Angkor Wat and the surrounding countryside of Siem Reap whereby he instructs, educates and informs others about photography and Cambodian history.
